Bend, Do Not Break

Bend, Do Not Break

Have you ever watched a large Pine tree during a storm? The blustery winds that come with a storm often inflict vicious pressure on the skinny and
frail-looking Pine tree. However, the Pine tree is quite deceptive. Although thin in stature, the Pine tree is extremely strong and mighty. It has the great
ability to BEND during an enormous amount of pressure, but not BREAK.

Sometimes the Pine tree looks as if it is bent to it's max and could snap in half at any moment...but, it never does. When the storm clears and the sun's rays peek out from those dark clouds, there is the the great Pine...standing firm, strong, and beautiful.

WE are like the flexible Pine tree. Life can throw it's worst at us, battering us, scaring us, bending us until we think we will break. But, we don't...and we won't.  The Divine made us wonderfully pliable. He is the great roots holding us down, planting us firmly in the ground, and always supporting our bending selves. We learn from each storm. We grow stronger from each harsh wind. We come out more beautiful and
mature after each experience, growing taller in the emerging sunshine. We are aware and appreciative that many times in life we will BEND...but we will never BREAK.

Blessings of flexibility during life's harsh storms and gusty winds♥
